Gaeul of IVE is set to promote the joy of reading as part of a national campaign.
Starship Entertainment announced on April 21 that Gaeul has been selected as a partner for the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's public reading campaign, '2026 Korea Reads.'
The 'Korea Reads' campaign aims to promote reading culture nationwide, encouraging people to discover the joy of reading in everyday life.
Gaeul is well known for her love of books. She recently launched a YouTube channel, 'Gaeul's Temperature,' where she shares a variety of book-related content.
Starting with the official launch ceremony on April 23 at the Starfield Library, she will take part in activities promoting reading culture over the next year.
To mark the beginning of the campaign, Gaeul will host a 'mini book talk' at the library, where she plans to share her reading preferences with visitors.
"I'm honored and happy to be part of such a meaningful campaign," Gaeul said. "I will think carefully about how to convey the value of reading through various activities and content."
Meanwhile, IVE recently held its second world tour 'Show What I Am' at Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan.
