[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] Actor Kim Rae-won is returning to viewers' screens with a baseball drama. It marks his return approximately four years after "Police Station Next to Fire Station and National Forensic Service."

The production team of new SBS-TV drama "Full Count" (written by Park Myung-rang, directed by Ham Jun-ho) revealed its casting lineup on the 23rd. They announced, "Kim Rae-won and Park Hun have confirmed their appearances."

"Full Count" is a sports drama. It tells the story of professional baseball coaches staking everything as they navigate a cutthroat sports battleground filled with schemes and tactics to become managers.

Kim Rae-won takes on the role of Hwang Jin-ho, the interim manager of the "Stars" facing elimination from the fall baseball season. A former catcher, he spent his playing career as a backup, a tragic figure in baseball.

As a coach, he receives better recognition, but even that isn't easy. Living as an outsider in an exclusive atmosphere, when the interim manager position comes his way, he plunges into turbulent waters.

Park Hun plays Jo Dong-hee, a pitching coach and the "Stars" legendary pitcher who is the top candidate for manager. His goal as a coach is to win a championship, something he never achieved as a player.

Unlike himself, who is regarded as a legend, he views competing with the second-rate Hwang Jin-ho for the manager position as shameful. He plans to use Hwang Jin-ho as a sacrificial pawn to secure the manager role.

The key to watching is the rivalry between the two. They will clash over the "Stars manager" throne. The power plays and struggles unfolding in the dugout will deliver tension.

Meanwhile, "Full Count" is scheduled to air next year.
