Kim Moon-hee, an attorney at Law Firm Yulchon, the legal representative, said on the 23rd, "The court has made a decision to accept the artist's application for a provisional disposition to suspend the exclusive contract effect. Following this, the artist has been confirmed that the exclusive contract with One Hundred Label has been lawfully terminated and its effect has ended."

The court comprehensively reviewed the agency's violation of settlement payment obligations, failure to fulfill its duty to provide settlement data, and failure to fulfill management support and artist protection obligations. The conclusion is that the trust relationship between the parties has reached an irreparably broken state due to the agency's fault.

The court also rejected the agency's position on the nature of the contract payment. The agency had argued that the contract payment has the character of an advance payment. However, the court said, "The contract payment and settlement payment are stipulated as separate clauses, and there is no agreement that the already-paid contract payment can substitute for newly payable settlement payments."

Yulchon emphasized, "The contract payment was separately provided to recruit an artist with considerable popularity and recognition," and "the agency's distortion of the scope or nature of the contract payment is merely an attempt to reverse and deny its own judgment."

THE BOYZ stated, "We plan to faithfully fulfill existing schedules confirmed before the contract termination to keep our promise with fans and minimize damage to well-intentioned third parties," and "the artists devoted themselves to practice every day despite difficult circumstances. They did their best while bearing a considerable portion of costs personally."

It added, "We apologize for causing fatigue through unnecessary noise during the process of parting with the agency. We hope that subsequent procedures will be settled amicably and promptly going forward."

Meanwhile, nine members of THE BOYZ, excluding New, previously notified One Hundred Label of the termination of their exclusive contract. Subsequently, they filed an application for a provisional disposition to suspend the exclusive contract effect and took legal action.

The members claimed, "The agency did not pay settlement payments for activities since July of last year, and did not respond to requests to review settlement data. Basic support necessary for entertainment activities was not provided."

Member Sang-yeon of THE BOYZ is currently serving in the military. Nine members are currently active. The group will hold a concert "INTER-ZECTION" from the 24th to 26th.
