[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] Chef An Sung-jae's fine dining restaurant has apologized over the "wine switcheroo" controversy.

"Mosu Seoul" posted an apology on SNS on the 23rd. The restaurant issued an official statement regarding the "wine switcheroo" allegations that recently surfaced online.

The restaurant apologized, saying "accurate guidance did not take place during the wine pairing service process, and we were unable to provide sufficient explanation in our response."

It continued, "We separately offered an apology after the incident occurred, and it was received graciously, but we take the insufficiency of that process seriously."

"Mosu Seoul" added, "All staff members are taking this matter seriously, and we promise to inspect overall service and prevent recurrence."

The restaurant pledged to rebuild trust with customers. "We once again apologize to our valued customers for their unwavering trust and affection," it said.

Netizen A recently posted about being "switched on wine vintage at Mosu Seoul." They pointed out that the pairing wine was served incorrectly.

They claimed that a vintage wine worth 800,000 won (2000 vintage) was supposed to be provided, but what they actually received was a wine 100,000 won cheaper (2005 vintage).

They also expressed dissatisfaction with the restaurant's response, writing "Is this the kind of mistake a Michelin 2-star restaurant should make? There was no apology on the day."

Meanwhile, "Mosu Seoul" is a fine dining restaurant operated by Chef An Sung-jae. After reopening in March last year, it received a Michelin Guide 2-star.
