[Dispatch=Reporter Chung Tae-yoon] NMIXX returns with romantic sensibility.
NMIXX will release its fifth mini album "Heavy Serenade" and the title track of the same name on the 11th. Beginning with a scheduler, the group has warmed up its comeback by showing advance trailers to meet the new album, tracklists, and motion posters.
On the 24th, it unveiled concept photos themed around love that cannot be hidden. The members gazed in different directions within a static atmosphere, creating subtle tension. Lily and Haewon crossed gazes, while Bae and Gyujin turned their backs to each other. Seol-yoon and Jiwoo looked in the same direction.
In individual teasers, the group displayed a unique composition combining small portraits of each member with objects. They produced sensual visuals through photogenic poses. Minimalist styling in pastel colors that harmonized with the low-saturation background tone added a fresh yet romantic mood.
This is a comeback after approximately seven months. The new album contains a total of six tracks. Led by the title track "Heavy Serenade," the tracks include "Crescendo," "IDESERVEIT," "Different Girl," "Superior," and "LOUD."
Singer-songwriter Han Roro participated in writing the title track. It signals special musical synergy with NMIXX. Additionally, Lily received writing credits for the B-side tracks "Crescendo" and "LOUD," while Bae received a credit for "Different Girl."
Meanwhile, NMIXX will release its new album on major music streaming sites on the 11th of next month at 6 p.m. Prior to that, the members will perform the B-side track "Superior" at the "Eve Festa," the eve of the esports festival "LCK Team Roadshow: T1 Home Ground" held today.
