[Dispatch=Reporter Jung Tae-yoon] TWICE drew approximately 550,000 attendees across their North American tour, setting a new record for a K-pop girl group.
TWICE is successfully carrying out their world tour "THIS IS FOR". Starting from Incheon, they traveled through Asia and Australia. The subsequent North American tour held a total of 35 performances across 20 cities, from January through the 18th in Austin.
A remarkable 550,000 attendees joined the North American tour. TWICE became the K-pop girl group that drew the largest audience in North America to date. The group was originally scheduled to perform 22 shows across 20 cities, but added additional dates as tickets quickly sold out.
They added one additional performance each in Vancouver, Seattle, Oakland, Dallas, Washington D.C., Belmont Park, Hamilton, Orlando, Boston, Chicago, and Austin. In Los Angeles, they added two more performances, painting the city with TWICE's energy for four consecutive days.

The tour opened the stage 360 degrees toward all seats. They delivered a three-dimensional performance experience to the audience while heightening the energy. They showcased members' solo songs and "Take Down," from the K-pop Demon Hunters original soundtrack, as well as their 14th mini album "Strategy," which enjoyed a long run on the US Billboard Hot 100 main chart.
At the conclusion of the final North American tour date on the 18th in Austin, a special video prepared by local fans was screened. The members expressed their feelings, saying, "We started the North American tour in January and performed over 30 shows. When Once told us they worked hard, it really felt like it's over. We are grateful to all the fans who came to see TWICE."
Following North America, Japan is poised for a historic milestone. On the 25th-26th and 28th, they will hold 3 performances, making their debut as the first overseas artist to perform solo at Tokyo National Stadium in Japan. The National Stadium is a massive venue with a maximum capacity of 80,000.
TWICE has become the first overseas artist to take the stage there. This year marks TWICE's 9th anniversary of their official debut in Japan. Standing tall at Tokyo National Stadium, which holds unique significance in the Japanese music market, they have proven their local fanbase, popularity, and ticket power.
