Billboard released a chart preview article on the 27th (Korea time). BTS's regular fifth album 'ARIRANG' secured the 4th position on the 'Billboard 200' (dated May 2).
It has maintained the top 5 for five consecutive weeks. 'ARIRANG' debuted at No. 1 on the 'Billboard 200' (dated April 4) following its release on the 20th of last month. After holding the top spot for three weeks, it moved to third place.
Steady consumption momentum stands out. The new album exceeded 62,000 album units according to Luminate's tracking period. This figure combines physical and digital sales.
'ARIRANG' is BTS's first full group album in approximately 3 years and 9 months since 'Proof.' It addresses the team's identity and universal emotions encountered in life.
Meanwhile, BTS recently kicked off the North American leg of the world tour 'ARIRANG' at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The group will tour a total of 12 cities.
