[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myeong-joo] TXT has successfully led their first comeback following contract renewal. They have secured a top position on the U.S. Billboard chart.
According to Billboard chart preview reports, they entered No. 3 on the Billboard 200 (as of May 2) with their eighth mini album "Seventh Year: The Moment the Wind Stopped in the Thorns."
"Seventh Year: The Moment the Wind Stopped in the Thorns" recorded 69,000 album units. Of this, 67,000 physical albums were sold and 2,000 SEA units were sold.
It is their 13th album on the Billboard 200 chart. TXT has placed a total of 10 Korean albums and 3 Japanese albums on the Billboard 200, including this new release.
The new album honestly expressed the emotions and thoughts the members felt over 7 years since their debut. Universal sentiment harmonized with experimental sound and received favorable reviews from listeners.
The title track "One More Day a Day" (Stick With You) achieved a "Grand Slam" on domestic music broadcasts. It received 5 trophies from programs including "Music Bank" and "Show! Music Core."
Meanwhile, TXT will appear on Wave's "TXT's Parenting Diary," which will be released on the 1st of next month.
