TWS, New Album Career High... "First Day of Release Surpasses Previous Work"

[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] TWS achieved a 'career high' just one day after the release of their new album.

TWS released their fifth mini album 'NO TRAGEDY' on the 27th. According to Han Ter Chart, the new album sold 833,138 copies on its first day of release.

In a single day of album sales alone, it surpassed the previous record. The fifth mini album 'play hard' had cumulative sales of approximately 740,000 copies as of last month.

The album also swept various charts. 'NO TRAGEDY' claimed the number one spot on the Han Ter daily album chart. It surpassed QWER and NEXZ, which made comebacks the same day.

The digital tracks are also popular. The title track 'I'll Follow You' ranked 55th on Melon's 'Top 100'. Tracks including 'I'll Become All Your Possibilities' also charted.

The global response is strong. All tracks from the new album charted on Japan's LINE MUSIC real-time 'Song Top 100'. It also entered the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart.

'NO TRAGEDY' is a story of taking control and completing love rather than submitting to fate. It captures the grown-up appearance beyond boyhood.

'I'll Follow You' is a song that makes a straightforward confession of feelings toward a fateful person. In particular, the 'Dda-rum' in the chorus section creates strong addictiveness.

Meanwhile, TWS will begin music show activities starting with Mnet's 'M Countdown' on the 30th.
