[Dispatch=Myung Ju Lee] Korean content has captivated Netflix subscribers worldwide.
According to the latest count (April 20-26) from Netflix's official site 'Tudum,' a total of three Korean works have entered the global top 10 series (non-English) rankings.
First place is the SBS-TV Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sold Out Today.' It recorded 4.7 million views (viewing hours divided by the work's runtime) during the counting period.
It claimed the top 10 in a total of 42 countries and regions. In Honduras, Peru, Guatemala, Bolivia, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Venezuela, and Taiwan, it ranked first.
Netflix series 'Girigo' entered fourth place. During the same period, it acquired 2.8 million views. It also made the top 10 in a total of 37 countries and regions.
Another Netflix series 'Hunting Dogs 2' is enjoying sustained popularity. It settled in sixth place with 2.2 million views. It has remained in the top 10 for four consecutive weeks since its release.
