[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] Actress Kim Hee-ae presents a fatal and thrilling romance.
The JTBC new drama 'Gold Digger' (script by Sun Young, directed by Lim Hyun-wook) revealed its casting lineup on the 29th. Kim Hee-ae, Noh Sang-hyun, Kim Ji-eun, Cha Hak-yeon, and Park Soo-o will appear.
'Gold Digger' is a mystery romance genre. It depicts a successful middle-aged woman falling in love with a much younger man, then doubting and misunderstanding his sincerity due to social prejudice.
Kim Hee-ae plays Min Young-joo, the head of a publishing company. She is a character who has reached the peak of her career. Through Jung Jae-hee (played by Noh Sang-hyun), with whom she becomes entangled by chance, she wavers between love and suspicion.
Noh Sang-hyun plays Jung Jae-hee, Kim Hee-ae's counterpart. Jung Jae-hee is a freelance designer. He transforms his acting through a character with an irresistible fatal charm.
Kim Ji-eun, Cha Hak-yeon, and Park Soo-o appear as Min Young-joo's three children. They take on the roles of eldest daughter Seo Hyun-seo, eldest son Seo Hyun-chul, and second son Seo Hyun-min, respectively. They fall into great confusion with Jung Jae-hee's presence.
The three siblings are expressed as having different dispositions. They erupt with worry, resentment, and anger toward their mother, creating conflict between Min Young-joo and Jung Jae-hee.
The production team stated, "The story of Jung Jae-hee coming to Min Young-joo provides irresistible dopamine," and "Speculation surrounding Jung Jae-hee's true intentions will also be fun."
Meanwhile, 'Gold Digger' will air on JTBC at a later date.
