[Dispatch=Reporter Tae Yoon Jung] PLAVE has dominated Billboard's key charts.
Billboard released its latest charts on the 29th. PLAVE made its debut on the Billboard 200 chart dated May 2 at No. 145 with its fourth mini album 'Caligo Pt.2'.
The group also newly entered the Billboard Artist 100, another major chart, at No. 75. It also recorded meaningful results on the artist influence indicator.
On the Billboard Global (excluding U.S.) chart, the title track 'Born Savage' along with "That Seems Like It," "Heung Heung Heung," and "Borrowing This Night to Tell You" simultaneously entered.
The group also achieved consistent results across other Billboard charts including No. 2 on Emerging Artists and Top Album Sales. It demonstrated high interest from global listeners.
The result aligned with the heated domestic response. Following its No. 2 placement on the domestic music site Melon's Top 100 chart shortly after its release on the 13th, it surpassed 1.25 million copies in initial sales (based on Hanteo Chart).
The album carries a narrative connected to 'Caligo Pt. 1' released last February. Within an intensified world, it concluded one narrative while hinting at new possibilities.
