[Dispatch=Reporter Kim Ji-ho] Disney+ is producing 'The Miracle of Namiya General Store' as a series. Twenty actors including Ryu Seung-ryong and Kim Hye-yoon are on board.

'The Miracle of Namiya General Store' is a bestselling novel by Keigo Higashino. The story follows three petty thieves who hide in the 'Namiya General Store,' which closed 40 years ago, and begin answering letters that arrive from the past, depicting the incidents that unfold.

The lead role 'Ko Min-joong' is played by Ryu Seung-ryong. The three petty thieves roles have been cast with promising newcomers including Kang Yu-seok, Park Jeongwoo, and Kim Sung-jung.

Kim Hye-yoon, Moon Sang-min, and Yoon Kyung-ho also join to enrich the episodes. Go A-sung, Lee Soo-kyung, Kim Min-ha, Bae In-hyuk, Park Hee-soon, Oh Na-ra, Moon Woo-jin, and Park Se-wan are also participating.

The special appearance lineup is impressive as well. Yeom Jung-ah, Yeom Hye-ran, Jung Chae-yeon, and Jang Dong-yoon are among those credited.

'Namiya General Store' has director Park Young-joo handling both screenplay and direction. Director Park earned recognition for his refined directorial skills through the film 'Citizen Deok-hee.'

Adding to the trust, 'The Lamp' is taking on production duties. The Lamp has been presenting acclaimed works including 'Midnight Runners,' 'Taxi Driver,' 'Mal-moi,' 'Take Off,' and 'Escape' in succession.

Meanwhile, 'Namiya General Store' wrapped its crank-in on the 14th. It will be released globally on Disney+ in 2027.
