[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] THE 8 of SEVENTEEN will present an original song imbued with the sentiment of parting.

Pledis Entertainment announced on the 30th, "THE 8 will release the original song '不见了' (Love is gone) on the 1st of next month at 1 a.m."

'不见了' is a song that expresses tender feelings of separation through the exaggerated texture unique to hyperpop. THE 8 solely wrote the lyrics. He also participated in the composition.

The lyrics depict the inner fractures and afterimages that occur after parting with a beloved person. Paired with raw vocals, it amplifies the sense of solitude.

It showcases a different musical style from THE 8's previous solo songs. Through '不见了', he proves an expanded creative spectrum.

He previously released the original song '四月的漂流' (April Draft) on the 1st. The song compares the process of love and parting to seasons.

Meanwhile, THE 8 will perform as a headliner at the 'MIDO Music Festival' held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, China on the 1st~2nd of next month.
