[Dispatch=Reporter Gu Min-ji] Super Junior's Heechul is taking a temporary break from JTBC's 'Ask Us Anything.'
A JTBC official stated on the 30th, "Heechul is taking a temporary hiatus from 'Ask Us Anything' due to health reasons." The official explained, "The duration of the break has not been determined."
However, the official drew a line, noting this is not a permanent departure from the program. "Kim Shin-young and member replacements are not happening," the official said, adding "Heechul is scheduled to rejoin the program after taking a break for the time being."
He will not participate starting from today's recording. "Heechul will not attend the recording on the 30th," the official said, adding "The broadcast airing on May 9th will be the tentative last episode before his break."
Kim Shin-young will fill the vacancy. The production team announced the addition of a fixed member on the 29th. "She is set to bring fresh change to the program with her sense and wit," the official said.
The official continued, "In recent recordings, she commanded the classroom atmosphere with her unique energy. With her sensible reactions and witty exchanges, she naturally blended in with the members."
Meanwhile, 'Ask Us Anything' is a talk show format entertainment program. Heechul has been active as an original member since 2015.
