A JTBC official stated on the 30th, "Heechul will take a temporary break from 'Knowing Bros' due to health reasons." The official explained, "The break period has not been determined."

However, the official drew a line, saying this is not a permanent exit from the program. "There is no member replacement with Kim Shin-young," and "Heechul is scheduled to rejoin the program after taking a break for the time being," the official said.

He will not participate starting from today's recording. "Heechul will not attend the recording on the 30th," the official said, adding, "The broadcast on May 9th will be the last broadcast before the temporary break."

Kim Shin-young will fill the vacancy. The production team announced Shin-young's joining on the 29th. "She will bring fresh changes to the program with her sense and wit," the official said.
