[Dispatch=Park Hye-jin Reporter] CIX's Seung-hun has announced his retirement from the music industry.
On the 30th of last month, Seung-hun wrote a handwritten letter saying, "Looking back, I was truly lacking as a person" and "Thanks to FIXS (fandom name) who believed in me and supported me to the end, I was able to become a better person little by little."
He revealed his plans to retire as a singer. "Now I want to set aside the name of singer for a while and live a new life as a person outside of the stage," he said, adding "It was a decision I truly needed. To be honest, I'm scared and afraid."
He continued, "Thank you for loving me and walking through my youth with me," and expressed affection, saying "Now we will each live in our own places, but I sincerely hope FIXS are happy."

He told fans, "When you occasionally think of me, please smile thinking 'I wonder if he's doing well,'" and "I will also think of FIXS that way."
Finally, he expressed gratitude to his members. "For 7 years, thank you so much hyung Byung-gon, Yong-hee, Hyun-suk, for holding on together. Thanks to you, I was truly a happy CIX Seung-hun," he concluded.
CIX announced the end of team activities on the 29th of last month, seven years after their debut. An official said, "We had in-depth discussions over several months, but it became inevitable to halt team operations."
BX and Seung-hun's exclusive contracts ended on the 30th of last month. Hyun-suk's ends on the 31st. Yong-hee enlists on the 11th and will fulfill his mandatory military service as an active-duty soldier in the Army.
