[Dispatch=Reporter Yuha Nul] The YouTube channel 'Jjanhanhyung Shin Dong-yup' has released a statement regarding sexual harassment allegations involving TXT.

The 'Jjanhanhyung Shin Dong-yup' side stated in a phone call with 'Dispatch' on the 4th, "The TXT episode preview was exposed provocatively, which caused a misunderstanding," and "the problematic content has been excluded entirely from the main episode."

They added, "In the editing process, we are making every effort to cut out parts that may be uncomfortable, but there were parts that we failed to filter out," and "We will proceed more carefully in production going forward."

The TXT sexual harassment controversy arose from the preview featuring Soobin and Beomgyu. Shin Dong-yup said to Soobin, "Weren't your eyes originally clustered together like mine?"

Shin Dong-yup also directly measured the distance between Soobin's body parts. Co-MC Jongho lifted his top and exposed his body. Soobin responded by saying, "It's embarrassing."

Sexual harassment allegations spread immediately after the preview was released. Some fans announced through a statement that they are "taking the matter very seriously" and also announced plans for a truck protest.

'Jjanhanhyung Shin Dong-yup' has been embroiled in controversy multiple times due to profanity, body jokes, and provocative remarks. Actor Kwon Sang-woo faced scrutiny in the past when he appeared on the show, with issues arising from profanity and mentions of kissing scenes.

Recently, the discovery of Lee Jae-ryong's third drunk driving incident became known, reigniting controversy over the glorification of drinking. The relevant episode was later set to private.

Criticism is also continuing about the format itself centered on alcohol. While there is an advantage in drawing out candid sides that are difficult to see ordinarily, it can lead to excessive drinking and exposure of minors to alcohol consumption.

The government revised the 'Media Alcohol Scene Guidelines to Prevent the Spread of Drinking Culture' in 2023. However, there is a lack of regulations and grounds that can actually impose penalties.
