[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] NCT's Taeyong expands his musical spectrum once again.
Taeyong will release his solo first full-length album "WYLD" on various music platforms on the 18th at 6 p.m. The album contains a total of 10 tracks, including the title track of the same name.
Tracks from the new album were introduced ahead of its release. "I'm a Dancing Cactus" is an EDM-based house genre track. It is characterized by unconventional beats.
"Hot" is an old-school hip-hop song. It reinterprets a respect for classic hip-hop in a contemporary way. The rap flow stimulates nostalgia for classic hip-hop.
The agency said, "'WYLD' captures a side of Taeyong that you're meeting for the first time," and explained, "The album broadens the genre spectrum with EDM and old-school hip-hop."
Meanwhile, Taeyong will hold a listening session for "WYLD" at Understage in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 16th and 17th. He will also hold an exhibition commemorating the album's release.
