[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] Actor Ahn Hyo-seop is embarking on a global project. He is releasing a single album in collaboration with American singer-songwriter Khalid.

His agency, The Present Company, announced on the 6th that the collaborative single "Something Special" by Ahn Hyo-seop and Khalid will be released on the 22nd.

This is Ahn Hyo-seop's first time releasing a new song through collaboration with an overseas artist. He has previously sung numerous drama and film OSTs with high-level vocal ability.

Recently, he took on the voice acting role of Jinwoo, the leader of 'Lion Boys,' in the Netflix animation 'K-pop Demon Hunters.' He also handled some of the song scenes.

Through this work, he has continued his global activities. He attended the 98th Academy Awards ceremony. He also entered the '2026 Met Gala.'

Khalid is also matching his breath with a Korean artist for the first time since his debut. He is an R&B singer who has produced global hit songs such as 'Location,' 'Talk,' and 'Better.'

This project was carried out through collaboration between the domestic music platform 'Musiccow' and 'Roc Nation,' an entertainment company established by American rapper Jay-Z.

Producer Lee Woo-seok took charge of main producing. He is the person who created Wonder Girls' 'Nobody.' Grammy producer Troy Johnson also participated in the producing.

Meanwhile, Ahn Hyo-seop is currently appearing on SBS-TV's 'Sold Out Today as Well.'
