MBC-TV's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Fifty Percent' (screenplay by Jang Won-seop, directed by Han Dong-hwa) premieres on the 22nd. Lee Soon-won plays 'Geum Gang-sik,' the number two of the Inpa boss.

'Fifty Percent' is an action comedy drama. It depicts a story of three once-famous men becoming entangled again by fate. It portrays 50% of life—worn down by the world with rusted bodies, yet still possessing loyalty and instinct.

Geum Gang-sik is an action captain who takes the lead in all dirty and bad work within the organization. However, underneath, he is a pitiful character who is overwhelmed by boss Yoo In-gu (played by Hyun Bong-sik) and pushed around.

Even while being mistreated by the boss, he is a sincere loyalist who will jump out of bed at a word from his superior. Lee Soon-won will add vitality with his characteristic detailed expressiveness.

Lee Soon-won debuted in 2008 with the play 'That Man, That Woman.' He has built his presence through appearances in dramas including 'Mr. Sunshine,' 'Nokdu Flower,' 'Search,' 'Delivery Man,' 'The Wedding Ceremony,' and 'Fine: Country Bumpkins.'

He has continued his activities in films as well. He appeared in 'Manipulated City,' 'Ryu Sa-o,' 'Rebound,' 'The Land of Happiness,' 'Amazon Hyungmyung-su,' 'Hitman 2,' and others, showcasing distinctive performances across diverse works.

Recently, he announced his appearance in the film 'Kal: Han Godumak's Sword.' Lee Soon-won plays 'Jeok In-geol,' a sword tournament host. From the 29th of last month, he has been performing in the encore run of the Daehangno play 'Mrs. Maccabe.'
