[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-joo] Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper is joining director Bong Joon-ho's next project.

U.S. media outlet Variety reported on the 12th (Korea time) that "Bradley Cooper has been cast as the voice actor for director Bong Joon-ho's first feature-length animated film 'ALLY.'"

Bradley Cooper is a leading Hollywood actor and producer. He has appeared in films such as 'The Hangover,' 'Silver Linings Playbook,' and the drama series 'Sex and the City.'

He is well known to Marvel fans as the voice of Rocket in the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' series. He also provided voice acting in 'IF: Imaginary Friends,' which came out in 2024.

In addition to Bradley Cooper, multiple actors are participating in 'ALLY.' Ayo Edebiri, Dave Bautista, Finn Wolfhard, and Alex Jane Go have been cast.

'ALLY' centers on deep-sea fish that live in an underwater canyon but are curious about the human world. The story follows a baby piglet squid and friends as they get caught up in unexpected adventures.

Director Bong Joon-ho has been planning and developing the project since 2019. Director Yu Jae-sun, who directed 'Sleep,' contributed as a co-writer. 'Dneg' enhances the 3D animation quality.

Distributor Neon is collaborating with director Bong Joon-ho once again after 'Parasite.' The company recently acquired North American distribution rights. CJ ENM and Pencil Investments also handle investment and distribution.

Meanwhile, 'ALLY' aims to complete production in the first half of next year.
