According to Netflix's official site 'Tudum' latest count (April 4-10), SBS-TV's "Fabulous" entered the Global Top 10 Series (Non-English) at No. 1.
The series premiered on the 8th. It depicts the love story between Shin Seo-ri (played by Lim Ji-yeon), an unknown actress possessed by the spirit of a Joseon villainess, and Cha Se-gye (played by Huh Nam-jun), a ruthless tycoon.
Despite being early in its broadcast run, the response has been explosive. It recorded 3.9 million views (viewership hours divided by the work's runtime) and 9.3 million viewing hours during the count period.
It was particularly popular in Asia and North and South America. It ranked in the Top 10 in a total of 44 countries and regions. It ranks No. 1 in South Korea, Singapore, and Bolivia.
Other K-content has also been receiving steady love. The Netflix series 'Girigo' recorded 3.6 million views, remaining at No. 2 on the chart.
SBS-TV's 'Sold Out Today as Well' took third place with 3.1 million views. Maintaining the Top 10 for three consecutive weeks with 'Girigo', it upheld the pride of Korean romantic comedy.
The Netflix film 'K-POP Demon Hunters' charted again this week. It secured No. 5 on the Global Top 10 Movies (English). It has held a position on the chart for 47 weeks.
