[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo] TWS heated up the Japanese charts. The group dominated local charts with their new release.
According to the latest Oricon rankings (as of the 18th), TWS took first place on the "Weekly Aggregated Album Ranking" with their 5th mini album "NOTRAGEDY."
Their achievements don't end there. "NOTRAGEDY" also ranked 1st on the "Weekly Album Ranking." With their new album, TWS achieved a double crown on Oricon's weekly chart.
Media outlets explained, "TWS surpassed their previous 4th mini album's weekly points (139,662) and recorded their highest weekly points (220,956)."
TWS also performed well on Billboard Japan. The new album secured 1st place (as of the 13th) on "Top Album Sales." It was tallied to have sold approximately 230,000 copies in its first week of release.
Digital music also gained popularity. "NOTRAGEDY" ranked 1st and 2nd respectively on Japan iTunes and Apple Music "Top Albums" (K-pop category) charts.
The title track "I'll Follow You" maintained top positions on Spotify Japan's "Rising Chart." This chart indicates rankings of songs with rapidly increased listener numbers.
"NOTRAGEDY" is an album containing TWS's straightforward romance as youthful Romeos. It recorded 1,112,770 copies in first-week sales (sales during the first week of release).
Meanwhile, TWS will open the curtain on their world tour "24/7:FOR:YOU" on the 27th-28th of next month at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
