'The Assemblyman Helps' is based on a web novel of the same name. It tells the story of a congressman who becomes a ghost and returns to the past, and a grade 9 civil servant who help each other.

Kim Yun-seok takes on the role of Koo Young-jin, a six-term congressman. He is a character who was at the pinnacle of power as a political architect but met a tragic end entangled in a corruption scandal.

Meeting a miserable death due to political power. In the past where he returns, he joins hands with Cha Jae-rim (played by Kim Seon-ho) for a life reset.

Kim Yun-seok said, "I'm excited to work with excellent actors and staff," and added, "I will do my best to leave an unforgettable impression on viewers."

Kim Seon-ho plays Cha Jae-rim, a grade 9 civil servant who knows nothing about politics. Cha Jae-rim is a character who gets drawn into the political arena after being caught by 'ghost politician' Koo Young-jin.

His goal before meeting Koo Young-jin was to live an ordinary life. However, he becomes an avatar of Koo Young-jin and steps into the fierce world of politics.

Kim Seon-ho said, "I am honored to work with actors I respect on a good project. I will prepare hard and greet you. I hope for much anticipation."

Direction is handled by director Park Shin-woo. He received the Baeksang Arts Award trophy for 'Seoul of the Unknown.' Writer Kwon Jong-gwan, who wrote 'The Price of Confession,' participated in the writing.
