[Dispatch=Lee Myeong-ju] TXT proved its popularity in Japan once again. An additional gold disc certified album was added.
According to the Japan Record Association, TXT received "Platinum" certification for its mini 8th album "Seventh Year: When the Wind Paused Momentarily in the Thorn Thicket."
"Platinum" is one of nine certification standards set by the Japan Record Association. It is based on cumulative shipment volume. Certification is granted to albums that exceed 250,000 copies.
This is the 16th time TXT has obtained a gold disc certification. "CHIKAI" has risen to triple platinum status (750,000 copies).
A total of four albums have achieved double platinum (500,000 copies). These include "Star Chapter: Together," "Star Kissed," "Sweet," and "Good Boy Gone Bad."
The remaining works received platinum certification. "Star Chapter: Sanctuary," "Name Chapter: Freefall," "Name Chapter: Temptation," and "Chaotic Wonderland" were among them.
This new album ranked first on the Oricon "Weekly Combined Album Ranking" and "Weekly Album Ranking." It is a tied record for the most "Weekly Combined Album Ranking" number-one positions (14 times).
Meanwhile, TXT will open its 7th anniversary special concert "2026 TXT MOAAJOIN in Japan" in Aichi on the 23rd and 24th.
