[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo Reporter] Actors Jung Kyung-ho and Jeon Yeo-been will portray an 'adult romance.'

ENA stated on the 15th, "Casting for the new drama 'Captivated Romance' (screenplay by Lee Re, directed by Lee Chang-min) has been confirmed. Jung Kyung-ho, Jeon Yeo-been, Choi Dae-hoon, and Kang Mal-geum will appear."

'Captivated Romance' is a story about a star news anchor suffering from early-onset menopause and a writer in a rival relationship attempting to save a ratings-last broadcast, only to rekindle each other's romantic spark.

Jung Kyung-ho takes on the role of Yi Jun, the flagship anchor of YCB's news division. Rising rapidly after being selected as the youngest anchor, he faces his greatest life crisis due to early-onset menopause syndrome.

He caused an accident during a live broadcast when emotions surged and he could not regulate his body temperature. Eventually, he receives notice of his removal from the main news and joins a current affairs program with last-place ratings.

Jeon Yeo-been plays Seo Hae-yoon, a writer in charge of the current affairs program. She has worked at multiple broadcasting companies' news divisions for over a decade. As long as ratings rise, she shows no hesitation about sensational news.

As it turns out, there was a reason. As a senior writer, she had to be responsible for her junior colleagues. Amid the difficulties of a program on the verge of closure, Jun causes her further headaches.

The two's acting chemistry is the viewing point. Jung Kyung-ho and Jeon Yeo-been, at an age where health concerns come before excitement, become captivated by their belatedly awakened romantic spirit.

Choi Dae-hoon and Kang Mal-geum arrive as a 'divorced single-parent' couple. They respectively take on the roles of Ji Han-soo, a news division reporter who dreams of becoming a YCB anchor, and Heo Mi-eun, a broadcasting writer and close friend of Hae-yoon.

The production team stated, "The synergy of Jung Kyung-ho, Jeon Yeo-been, Choi Dae-hoon, and Kang Mal-geum will cook up the rich flavor of adult romance beyond perfection," urging interest and anticipation.

Meanwhile, 'Captivated Romance' will begin its first shooting soon. It is scheduled to air on ENA in the first half of next year.
