[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] BTS continues its City Project in Las Vegas, USA.
BTS posted a notice about "BTS The City Arirang - Las Vegas" (hereinafter "The City Las Vegas") on the fan communication platform Weverse on the 15th (Korea time).
This project is the starting point of "Global The City 2.0," an expansion of the existing "The City" to worldwide scale. The campaign will be conducted as the largest urban-linked initiative to date.
In 2022, BTS painted Las Vegas in purple to coincide with a concert. This year, it will collaborate with the local tourism bureau to paint the city red.
The "ARIRANG RED Illumination" is being deployed. The intense red light, the new album's key color, will decorate Las Vegas nights.
The Sphere, the world's largest spherical venue, will be decorated with "Arirang"-themed attractions during the project period. The entire exterior will be covered with related digital content.
"BTS Welcome" outdoor advertising takeovers will be displayed throughout the Strip, the tourism district. Messages welcoming them will appear from 11 p.m. to midnight on concert days.
The observation wheel, Eiffel Tower, and major hotels within the Strip will be illuminated in red. On the 23rd-24th and 27th-28th when the tour takes place, they will create a spectacular display at specific times.
"The City Welcome Party" will be held at Tailgate Beach Club on the 22nd and 26th. Various collaborations with F&B brands and culinary tours are also planned.
The agency explained, "'The City Las Vegas' will transcend concert viewing and become a venue for experience where the entire city shares the artist's brand."
Meanwhile, BTS will perform at the halftime show of the "2026 FIFA North and Central America World Cup" final, which will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA on July 19.
