I.O.I Returns After 10 Years... "I.O.I: Loop" Released

[Dispatch=Myeong-joo Lee] I.O.I is launching its 10th anniversary project in full force. The group will deliver increasingly solid musical synergy.

I.O.I will release its third mini album "I.O.I: LOOP" on the 19th at 6 p.m. The group resumes activities approximately 9 years after the previous release.

In this new album, the group authentically captured the past 10 years and the present moment of reuniting. Each member displayed the musical capabilities they have built through diverse sounds.

The title track is "Suddenly." The song sensitively captures yearning and lingering traces of memories that arrive unexpectedly. Member Jeon So-mi participated in the songwriting.

The group also added strength to other tracks on the album. In addition to writing lyrics for "IOI," the members were involved in composing, implementing the group's signature refreshing energy over a house rhythm.

Yeo-jun-jung took charge of songwriting and composing for "IF I." Through a straightforward band sound, the song narrates the relationship that has continued for 10 years like a film.

Chungha also handled songwriting and composing for "Us Then, Now." It is a response song in the form of a narrative following "Shower." Warm piano and string melodies came together.

The agency stated, "Please pay attention to the overwhelming synergy that I.O.I, finally united as one, will unfold through this 'I.O.I: LOOP.'"

Meanwhile, I.O.I will kick off its Asia tour at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul from the 29th to the 31st.
