JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Apartment' (screenplay by Kim Yun-young, directed by Jo Yong-won) revealed its casting lineup on the 19th. Jisung, Ha Yun-kyung, Park Byung-eun, and Moon So-ri appear.
'Apartment' is a life-oriented human comedy. It tells the story of an ex-mobster running in a residents' representative council chairman election to take over blind money within an apartment complex.
Jisung plays Park Hae-gang, a former Oasis faction boss. Hae-gang is a person who wants to become the residents' representative council chairman to secure 10 billion won in capital.
Ha Yun-kyung takes on the role of Kang Ha-ri, who dreams of becoming a major law firm lawyer. She lies to her family about passing the bar exam and getting hired at a law firm, becoming entangled with Hae-gang.
Park Byung-eun plays Lee Chung-won, a construction company representative and penthouse resident. A character equipped with looks, wealth, and wit, he stands at the opposite end from Hae-gang.
Moon So-ri plays Jang Suk-jin, the 'apartment grapevine.' She knows everything about apartment living and the residents. She plays an important role in resolving incidents.
The production team expressed expectations, saying, "We have assembled a solid lineup of premium actors. With fresh material called 'Jang-Chung-Geun' and record-breaking synergy, we will beat the heat."
