[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] Actors Jung Hae-in, Choi Soo-young, Jo Jung-suk, Shim Eun-kyung, and Minho discover the future of Korean short films.
The Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival announced on the 19th that Jung Hae-in, Choi Soo-young, Jo Jung-suk, Shim Eun-kyung, and Minho will participate as honorary judges for the 22nd Mise-en-scène Film Festival.
They will serve as judges for a total of five competition sections. Jung Hae-in will review submitted works for "Please Take Care of the Cat" (Drama) alongside directors Kim Doyoung and Kim Hyung-joo.
Choi Soo-young is in charge of "Jealousy Is My Strength" (Melodrama). She discovers new faces with directors Oh Seung-uk and Lee Ok-seop. Jo Jung-suk is in the "Zero Conduct" (Comedy) section.
Shim Eun-kyung plays an active role in the "Eerie" (Horror) section with directors Hwang Dong-hyuk and Hong Ui-jung. Minho is in charge of the "No Mercy" (Action) section and examines the submitted works.
The Mise-en-scène Film Festival is Korea's only genre-specific short film festival. Established in 2002, it is now in its 22nd edition. It discovered Kim Han-min ("Roaring Currents") and Na Hong-jin ("The Wailing"), among others.
Meanwhile, the Mise-en-scène Film Festival will be held from the 18th to 23rd of next month at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul.
