[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo] CORTIS has set a record with hundred-million-view Spotify streaming. This came just 15 days after the new release.
According to the latest Spotify count (as of the 19th), CORTIS surpassed 100 million cumulative streams with the mini second album 'GREENGREEN'.
They have proven their growth. Their debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' achieved the same milestone in 34 days.
Their monthly Spotify listeners exceeded 11.85 million. This is a scale in the top 4 among K-pop boy groups all-time. They are breaking their own records daily.
The title track 'REDRED' is also gaining major popularity. The song reached No. 103 on 'Daily Top Songs Global' (as of the 19th). It has charted for 28 consecutive days.
They have also dominated the domestic music charts. 'REDRED' topped Melon's daily chart (as of the 19th). This came approximately one month after the song entered the chart (at No. 90).
A song released by a boy group this year reaching No. 1 on Melon's daily chart is the second time, following BTS. Among fifth-generation boy groups, they are the only ones.
'REDRED' also held the top spot on Korea's 'Daily Top Songs' for 22 days. On Apple Music's 'Today's Top 100: Korea', it maintained the No. 1 position for 25 consecutive days.
Meanwhile, CORTIS claimed No. 3 on the main album chart 'Billboard 200' with 'GREENGREEN' on the latest U.S. Billboard chart (as of the 23rd).
