[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] Directors' choices were the film "Master of the World" and the drama "Fine: Country Bumpkins."
The Korean Film Directors Association (DGK) held the 24th Director's Cut Awards at Idelth in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 19th.
"Master of the World" (Director Yoon Ga-eun) achieved a triple crown. It won the screenplay award as well as the vision award. Soobin won the female acting award, bringing home a total of three trophies.
"A Man Living with the King" (Director Jang Hang-jun), which surpassed 10 million viewers, was called in two categories. Yoo Hae-jin and Jihoon each received the male acting award and the new male acting award.
"No Way Out" (Director Park Chan-wook) also swept major award categories. Director Park Chan-wook received the directing award, and Yom Hye-ran won the new female acting award.
In the series category, "Fine: Country Bumpkins" achieved a triple crown. The directing award (Kang Yoon-sung), female acting award (Lim Soo-jung), and new male acting award (Yunho) were given.
Hyun Bin received the male acting award for "Made in Korea." Bang Hyo-rin, who starred in "Stallion," received the new female acting award.
Meanwhile, the Director's Cut Awards is a ceremony where Korean film directors directly vote to select nominees and winners.
