[Dispatch=Reporter Jin Kim Ho] Alpha Drive One (hereafter "ADO") has filed suit against malicious commenters.
Wake One announced on the 21st, "Our company appointed a law firm in February and previously announced legal action against unlawful conduct including the spread of false information and defamation targeting our artists," and informed of the current investigation status.
Wake One conducted self-monitoring over the past several months. Malicious posts, false information, personal attacks, creation and distribution of obscene material, defamation, insults, and related posts were continuously collected and reviewed.
Based on this, formal complaints were filed twice in April and May. Wake One stated, "Investigations including search warrants are currently in progress to secure information to identify the perpetrators."
The company added, "We are obtaining and analyzing information necessary for suspect identification from certain platforms," and "we are cooperating closely with investigative agencies and continuing necessary follow-up procedures."
Finally, they stated, "This response is a measure to correct distorted information and false facts, and to protect our artists from malicious defamation and infringement of their rights," adding "we will continue through the necessary legal procedures to the end."
Meanwhile, Alpha Drive One will make a comeback on the 26th with the prologue single 'No School Tomorrow'. The title track is set as 'OMG!'
