[Dispatch=Reporter Jung Tae-yoon] A new festival 'STRAYCITY' centered on Stray Kids will be held in Latin America.
Live Nation, a U.S. concert planning agency, and JYP Entertainment announced on the 22nd through their official SNS that they are launching a music festival 'STRAYCITY' with Stray Kids as headliners.
The performances will take place on September 9 (local time) in Bogotá, Colombia, the 14th in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the 25th in Mexico City, Mexico. Stray Kids will headline all sessions.
JYP Entertainment's junior boy group NEXZ, along with renowned musicians active in the region including Andrés Obregón, René, Bad Milk, K Lynch, Kaos, and Cocho, will participate as support artists by city.
'STRAYCITY' is a music festival that anyone can enjoy, where you awaken another self within and discover a new me. Stray Kids will unleash their distinctive energy at the festival, named after the group name 'Stray'.
Stray Kids will demonstrate the skills honed through their recent world tour 'dominATE', which spans 56 shows across 35 regions worldwide, as well as serving as headliners at numerous large-scale music festivals.
This festival is expected to add additional venues and continue. Detailed information can be found on Live Nation and JYP Entertainment's official SNS at a later date.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will serve as headliners at various festivals this year as well. They have secured the headlining stage at 'The Governors Ball Music Festival' in New York, USA on the 6th of next month and September 11, and Brazil's 'Rock in Rio'.
