[Dispatch=Kim Ji-ho Reporter] ZEROBASEONE has surpassed 10 million cumulative album sales.
ZEROBASEONE recently set a first record among fifth-generation K-pop groups. Based on 'Hanteo Chart,' cumulative album sales have exceeded 10 million from the debut album to the recently released mini album 6 'Ascend.'
ZEROBASEONE achieved the first status as a K-pop group to become a double million seller with its debut album 'Youth in the Shade.' Sales exceeded 2 million copies. Mini album 2 'Melting Point' also proved strong album power by selling 2.13 million copies.
Mini album 3 'You Had Me at Hello,' mini album 4 'Cinema Paradiso,' mini album 5 'Blue Paradise,' and regular album 1 'Never Say Never' all made the million seller ranks. With the recent mini album 6 'Ascend,' they reached the milestone of 10 million cumulative sales.
Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE released mini album 6 'Ascend' on the 18th. It is the first album released after reorganizing the team into a five-member lineup (Sung Han Bin, Kim Jiung, Seo Matthew, Kim Tae Rae, Park Gun Wook). The album captures the musical essence and direction felt while beginning a new journey.
The title track 'Top 5' is a contemporary reinterpretation of 2000s dance pop. It combines the refined mood of contemporary R&B with groovy hip-hop rhythm. It showcases ZEROBASEONE's restrained intensity.
