[Dispatch=Reporter Kim Ji-ho] BTS has painted Las Vegas, America's largest entertainment city, in red light.
BTS launched the city-linked campaign 'BTS The City Arirang-Las Vegas' on the 20th (local time). They took over Las Vegas in red, the key color of this year's new album 'Arirang'.
In 2022, BTS changed Las Vegas throughout the city to purple to coincide with their concerts. This became the beginning of a new urban project. This year, in collaboration with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, they presented 'Arirang Red'.

The biggest highlight of this project is the collaboration with 'Sphere,' the world's largest spherical venue. On the nights of BTS's performances (23-24th), the massive Sphere was filled with dreamlike pink fog.
BTS silhouettes appeared on the outer wall of the Sphere. The image of BTS members walking out holding lanterns. The sphere's surface rippled like liquid, and the sound of bells radiated in all directions.
Subsequently, messages reading 'What is your love song?' and 'What is your Arirang?' appeared across the outer wall in sequence. The Sphere served as a single album object.

A red wave swept across the Strip, Las Vegas's core commercial district. Landmark hotels including the High Roller, Las Vegas Eiffel Tower, and Gateway Arch illuminated their buildings in red lighting.
'BTS Welcome OOH Takeover' was conducted on approximately 30 digital billboards throughout the city. Welcome messages reading 'Welcome to BTS Arirang Tour' decorated the nighttime streets.
Offline events were also varied. At a large resort in the heart of the Strip, a six-minute fireworks display set to album tracks played out. All surrounding lights were turned off during the display, leaving a powerful impression.
The monorail, the transportation system, was wrapped in red color and the album's key message 'What is your Arirang?', heightening the festive atmosphere. Citizens participated in a 'stamp rally' where they completed missions at various locations around the city by riding the monorail.

An immersive media art exhibition space was also prepared. The exhibition featured BTS's new music videos and visuals. Surreal visual experiences were offered with five album tracks.
'The City Las Vegas' combines the city's infrastructure and cultural resources with BTS's music and messages. It will operate throughout Las Vegas until early June.
Meanwhile, all four performances of BTS World Tour Arirang in Las Vegas sold out perfectly. On the 23rd, the first performance day, over 60,000 spectators gathered at Allegiant Stadium, creating packed crowds.
