[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myeong-ju] Actor Jung Il-woo is continuing his diverse global activities as he celebrates his 20th debut anniversary.

Jung Il-woo recently attended the International Economic, Trade and Cultural Exchange Forum held in Shanghai, China. At the event, he was appointed as "Asia-Pacific Economic Trade and Cultural Exchange Ambassador."

As a Korean wave star, he has had a positive impact in promoting understanding of Asian culture and facilitating cultural exchanges between nations. He is evaluated as having led the expansion of Korean popular culture.

He also held a local fan meeting. Jung Il-woo opened his Asia tour "STILL HERE" in Hangzhou on the 16th. It is an offline event commemorating his 20th debut anniversary.

He prepared various segments. He offered interviews looking back on the past 20 years along with various performances. Interactive games, Q&A sessions with fans, and fan service were also arranged.

He expressed his gratitude to fans who have loved him unchanged over the years. He smiled and said, "Thank you for always being by my side. I am still here as well."

Jung Il-woo debuted in 2006 with the sitcom "Unstoppable High Kick." Afterward, he appeared in "The Moon That Embraces the Sun" and "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator," gaining popularity both domestically and internationally.

Meanwhile, starting with the Hangzhou fan meeting, Jung Il-woo will continue to meet fans in major Asian cities.
