Stray Kids, Korean-Japanese Album Power... Cumulative Shipments Surpass 40 Million Units

[Dispatch=Lee Myung-joo] Stray Kids has once again proven their formidable album power.

JYP Entertainment revealed on the 26th that "Stray Kids has surpassed 40.26 million cumulative shipments with a total of 28 albums released in Korea and Japan."

This comes 1 year and 3 months after they surpassed 30 million cumulative shipments in January of last year. At that time, Stray Kids had set this record with a total of 25 albums.

19 domestic albums have been released, surpassing 35.74 million shipments (based on Circle Chart tallies). 9 Japanese albums have been released, with over 4.54 million shipments.

Stray Kids released 2 albums last year and promoted them. Their regular 4th album 'Karma' and Skiz it Tape 'Do It' both hit No. 1 on the US 'Billboard 200'.

That's not all. According to last year's Luminate annual report, their albums ranked in the top tier in the 'Top US Albums' and 'Top US CD Albums' categories.

On the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI)'s 'Global Album Chart' and 'Global Album Sales Chart', they ranked 2nd. They achieved the highest results among K-pop artists.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids will perform at the US 'The Governors Ball Music Festival' on the 6th of next month. On September 11th, they will attend 'Rock in Rio' in Brazil.
