The agency continued, "The voice of the deceased has also been confirmed to be manipulated material generated using AI technology. Accordingly, the court issued an arrest warrant for Kim Se-ui on the 26th.

The warrant was issued based on violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection (defamation by false facts), violations of the Special Act on Punishment of Stalking Crimes, violations of the Special Act on Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (distribution of videos taken using cameras, etc. and coercion to use videos), and charges of intimidation, with the severity of the case recognized."

Kim Se-ui is accused of spreading false facts via YouTube and other platforms that "Kim Soo-hyun dated the late Kim Sae-ron when she was a minor, and the direct cause of Kim Sae-ron's death was pressure from Kim Soo-hyun's side to pay debts." In this process, Kim Se-ui is also accused of manipulating the voice of the deceased using AI.
