[Dispatch=Reporter Park Hye-jin] Actress Shin Hye-sun shared closing remarks for tvN's Saturday drama 'Secret Auditor' (written by Yeo Eun-ho, directed by Lee Su-hyun).
Shin Hye-sun played 'Joo In-ah,' an audit department director at Haemu Group in 'Secret Auditor.' As an audit director, she delivered catharsis with sharp charisma. At the same time, she moved between comedy and painted a wide range of emotions.
She said, "Time seems to have passed so quickly," and added, "It feels like filming just ended the other day, but it's already the finale—I still can't quite believe it."
Joo In-ah is a thorough principlist yet possesses a human side. Through the surrounding characters, the gradual transformation was expressed with density.
Shin Hye-sun said, "The greatest charm of In-ah is that she doesn't hesitate when speaking the right words," and added, "She appears firm, but there's unexpected humor. The more you watch, the more affection you feel," revealing her affection for the character.
She continued, "I thought she was strong-willed and unyielding on the outside, but she's actually closer to appearing strong while being soft inside. In-ah, who always seemed rational, gradually opens her heart while spending time with the people around her—that is both change and growth," she noted.
'Secret Auditor' resonated through its realistic office setting. "The response 'But that's the right thing to say' stays with me," she said. "Even though she could appear cold and scary as a boss, many people empathized with Joo In-ah's principles and actions—that was interesting."
It became a meaningful work for Shin Hye-sun as well. She said, "The pleasant on-set atmosphere from working with good people will stay in my memory for a long time. It was really enjoyable," and added, "Because of that, it will remain a warmer memory."
