'K-Everything' is a four-part documentary series. It sheds light on the background and driving force behind Korean culture establishing itself as a global cultural phenomenon. Actor and director Daniel Dae Kim served as host and executive producer. It covers various areas of Korean culture including K-pop, film and drama, food, and beauty. Lee Byung-hun appeared in the 'K-Film' episode. He voiced perspectives representing Korean film and content industry. He expressed his convictions about the present and future of K-content. Lee Byung-hun said, "Journalists from both Korea and the United States have been asking me lately why Korean content is so popular," and added, "I think it's because of unpredictable plot developments." He explained the unique sentiment and vitality that Korean content possesses. In particular, regarding Korean 'heung' (excitement), he said, "'Heung' is a positive and bright energy. I think it's energy that comes from the spirit or soul." He also mentioned Netflix's 'Kaepop Demon Hunters'. He added, "The unique energy of Korean content is creating a global resonance." He also addressed the future of the entertainment industry. "Rather than first thinking about what someone might like, if we further develop our own storytelling methods and energy, and stubbornly continue on, eventually we will be able to receive sustained interest and love," he said. As an actor, Lee Byung-hun also reflected on his journey. Recalling the film 'Joint Security Area JSA', he said, "It was a work I encountered during a period when consecutive films weren't delivering the results we expected," and recalled, "It was a work with great significance both commercially and artistically."
