[Dispatch=Reporter Park Hye-jin] Actors Choi Min-sik and Choi Hyun-wook meet as professor and student. The twisted literature class of the two begins.
Netflix confirmed the release date of its new series "The Boy at the Back Row" on the 29th. It will premiere on the 26th of next month. A teaser poster and teaser trailer were also released on this day.
"The Boy at the Back Row" is a suspense drama. It tells the story of Heo Moon-o (played by Choi Min-sik), a failed writer and Korean literature professor, who discovers the genius of Lee Kang (played by Choi Hyun-wook), a boy who always sits at the very back of the classroom, and becomes obsessed with his writing.

The trailer was filled with tension. Heo Moon-o hesitated with his laptop open before giving up on writing. Twenty years have passed since he published his first novel, and he has not written a single book since.
Living as a Korean literature professor, he meets Lee Kang, a student who always sits at the very back of the classroom. Upon discovering Lee Kang's genius, he conducts private literature lessons with him.
The scene crosscuts with Lee Kang's award acceptance speech. He expressed his gratitude to Heo Moon-o. Heo Moon-o asked, "Is what you wrote in that assignment of yours true?" With this line, the atmosphere took a complete turn.
"The Boy at the Back Row" is directed by Kim Gyu-tae. He has directed "Trunk," "Our Blues," "It's Okay, That's Love," and "That Winter, the Wind Blows." He is expected to delicately unfold the human psyche.
