American business publication Forbes named its "30 Under 30 Asia" list on the 27th (local time). It verified 4,000 candidate recommendations.

Forbes selected the most influential young talents in Asia, ranging from innovative entrepreneurs in AI and robotics to investors, artists, athletes, and scientists.

The publication analyzed K-pop's strength in the music field. Noting that "K-pop remains by far the dominant influence," it included three idol groups and a choreographer on the list.

CORTIS was the only K-pop boy group named. The group is the youngest among Koreans. Forbes highlighted that they position themselves as a "young creator crew" rather than traditional idols, noting that "members participate in producing and choreography."

I-DLE and NMIXX's influence was also highly regarded. Forbes stated that "I-DLE has 7 million monthly listeners on Spotify" and "has released multiple chart-topping albums."

Regarding NMIXX, the publication noted that the group is "garnering attention for its distinctive sound called 'Mixx Pop,' which combines various genres including pop, rock, hip-hop, and electronic music," highlighting their musicality.

Dancer Lee Jung was also named. Lee Jung created the choreography for "Soda Pop," the OST of the Netflix animation "K-pop Demon Hunters." Forbes pointed out that "she has also participated in choreography work for K-pop groups including BLACKPINK and TWICE."
