[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju reporter] Actor Ma Dong-seok (55, real name Lee Dong-seok) has lost his father.

Ma Dong-seok's father, the late Lee Ki-tae, passed away on the 2nd. The funeral hall is set up at Samsung Seoul Hospital Funeral Hall No. 17 in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Ma Dong-seok's side stated, "We apologize for not being able to contact each person individually due to the circumstances," and added, "We would be grateful if you could accompany the deceased on his final journey."

Ma Dong-seok and his wife Ye Jeong-hwa are listed as the chief mourners. They are keeping vigil at the funeral hall amid their grief to receive visitors.

The funeral procession of the deceased is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on the 4th. The burial site has been set as Seoul Memorial Park.

Meanwhile, Ma Dong-seok recently began filming for the movie "Crime City 5." As a sequel to the "Crime City" series, he is taking on the roles of lead actor, screenwriter, and producer.
