"No Street Casting"…'Weak Hero', Warns Against Appearance Scams

[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju Reporter] The production company of 'Weak Hero' urged caution against approaches under the guise of casting.

'Playlist' uploaded a notice titled 'False Casting Alert' on SNS on the 2nd. False casting cases for 'Weak Hero Class 3' have occurred.

Someone reportedly impersonated a casting director. An official emphasized, "(The company) is not conducting separate street casting."

He continued, "(Street casting) is completely unrelated to us, so absolutely do not respond," and added, "If you discover similar cases, please report immediately."

'Weak Hero' is a school action series that gained great popularity with Park Jihoon taking on the lead role of Yeon Sieun. Season 1 was released through Wave, and Season 2 through Netflix.

It generated heated response. In the case of 'Weak Hero Class 2', it ranked first in Netflix Global Top 10 Series (non-English category) upon release.

Meanwhile, whether 'Weak Hero Class 3' will be produced remains undecided.
