[Dispatch=Reporter Jung Tae-yoon] Actors Jisung and Ha Yun-kyung display outstanding chemistry.
The JTBC new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Apartment' (screenplay by Kim Yun-young, directed by Jo Yong-won) revealed the script reading scene on the 4th. Jisung, Ha Yun-kyung, Park Byung-eun, and Moon So-ri demonstrated passionate chemistry from the start.
'Apartment' is a human drama close to everyday life. It depicts the story of Park Hae-gang, a former boss of the Oasis faction who ran for apartment residents' association chairman to receive blind money, working with residents to eliminate corruption.
It is a collaboration between writer Kim Yun-young of debut work 'Revenge Returns' and director Jo Yong-won, who won the directing award at the 'Seoul Drama Awards' for 'Finding the Child'.
Jisung leads the drama as 'Park Hae-gang'. Hae-gang is a legendary former boss of the Oasis faction with 0% uncollected receivables. He aims to become apartment residents' association chairman to raise 10 billion won in capital to save Yong-man, who is like a father to him.
Jisung expressed confident aspirations, saying, "I will make Park Hae-gang well." Through flexible control of intensity, he delicately expressed the charisma of someone who cannot tolerate injustice and a face that gradually changes while being with residents.

Ha Yun-kyung plays 'Kang Ha-ri'. Ha-ri's goal is to become a senior partner at a large law firm. However, in reality, she is working as a part-time employee at a free consultation desk of senior partners.
She delivered sharp diction to enhance her independent charm. In particular, she will realistically portray her bickering with Hae-gang as they become entangled.
Park Byung-eun transformed into 'Lee Chung-won'. Chung-won is a construction company representative and penthouse resident with appearance, wealth, eloquence, and wit. He expressed himself with relaxed tone and soft expression.
However, he immediately revealed a sharp and cool side while confronting Park Hae-gang, who aims for long-term savings. Park Byung-eun hinted at a versatile character, saying, "While reading the script, I saw 6 to 7 characteristics of the character."
Moon So-ri plays 'Jang Suk-jin'. Suk-jin is a character famous for knowing everything about apartment living and people and for being overly meddlesome. Moon So-ri energetically expressed Suk-jin's chattiness.
Sometimes with Joan of Arc-like determination, sometimes with exaggerated comedy, she heightened the vitality of the drama. 'Apartment' is scheduled to premiere next month.
