[Dispatch=Reporter Jung Tae-yun] Actors Jisung and Ha Yun-kyung display impeccable acting chemistry.
The JTBC new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Apartment' (written by Kim Yun-young, directed by Jo Yong-won) unveiled the script reading scene on the 4th. Jisung, Ha Yun-kyung, Park Byung-eun, and Moon So-ri demonstrated passionate chemistry from the start.
'Apartment' is a life-close human drama. It depicts the story of Park Hae-gang, a former boss of the Oasis faction who ran for apartment complex resident council chairman to receive dirty money, eradicating corruption together with residents.
It is a collaboration between writer Kim Yun-young of the debut work 'Revenge Returned' and director Jo Yong-won, who won the directing award at the 'Seoul Drama Awards' for 'Finding the Child'.
Jisung leads the drama as 'Park Hae-gang'. Hae-gang is a legendary former boss of the Oasis faction with 0% uncollected receivables. He must secure 10 billion won in capital to save Yong-man, who is like a father to him. He aims to become the apartment resident council chairman to target long-term repair reserve funds.
Jisung expressed confident aspirations on the day, saying, "I will create Park Hae-gang well." Through flexible control of tension and release, he delicately expressed the charisma of someone who cannot remain silent when faced with injustice and the gradually changing face as he shares time with residents.

Ha Yun-kyung plays 'Kang Ha-ri'. Ha-ri's goal is to become a senior partner lawyer at a major law firm. However, the reality is that she is working part-time at the senior partner's free consultation desk.
She delivered the role with sharp diction, amplifying her independent charm. In particular, she is expected to realistically portray bickering as she becomes entangled with Hae-gang.
Park Byung-eun transformed into 'Lee Chung-won'. Chung-won is a construction company CEO and penthouse resident equipped with looks, wealth, eloquence, and wit. He expressed this through a relaxed tone and soft expressions.
However, he soon revealed sharp and cold facets while coming into conflict with Park Hae-gang targeting long-term repair reserve funds. Park Byung-eun hinted at a multi-faceted character, saying, "When I looked at the script, I saw 6 to 7 aspects of the character's personality."
Moon So-ri acts as 'Jang Suk-jin'. Suk-jin is a person famous for knowing everything about apartment living and people and for having a wide circle of concern. Moon So-ri expressed Suk-jin's chattiness with overflowing energy.
At times with Joan of Arc-like determination, at times with comical fuss, she heightened the vitality of the drama. 'Apartment' is scheduled to air next month.
