[Dispatch=Reporter Lee A Jin] IVE has reached the top of Japan's Oricon chart.
According to the latest Oricon count (as of the 3rd), IVE topped the 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking' with their fourth Japanese album 'Lucid Dream'.
The 'Weekly Combined Album Ranking' is a chart that ranks albums by combining physical album sales, digital album downloads, and streaming plays.
They also topped the 'Weekly Album Ranking', which reflects only album sales. They earned a total of 120,631 weekly points. This marks the highest score this year among overseas female artists.
'Lucid Dream' consists of a total of 6 tracks. These include the title track of the same name, 'Fashion', 'Jigsaw', 'Rebel Heart', 'Attitude', and 'Thank You'.
The title track 'Lucid Dream' is a song expressing emotions that become honest when facing dreams. The hopeful and uplifting melody stands out.
IVE has steadily raised their profile in Japan. In 2022, they visited Yokohama Arena and Tokyo Dome through the world tour 'Show What I Have'.
After that, they appeared at 'Rock in Japan Festival 2025', one of Japan's four major rock festivals. They have also appeared on popular music programs and entertainment shows.
