[Dispatch=Reporter Lee Myung-ju] Mark from 'NCT' is embarking on a full-fledged solo venture. He has established a one-person agency and announced plans for entertainment activities.

Mark recently completed business registration for 'UPPER ROOM' at the Mapo Tax Office. He also opened Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) accounts on the 3rd.

The name suggested religious undertones. On the 'UPPER ROOM' SNS, passages from the Gospel of Mark in the New Testament were exposed. He hinted at the musical direction he will pursue going forward.

Another teaser contained the phrases "Before the world's noise begins, I will record in the oldest way" and "When breath touches, silence awakens."

Mark withdrew from 'NCT' in April. He parted ways with his agency as well. Since his debut in 2016, he had been active under SM Entertainment for 10 years.

At the time, Mark confessed, "I know it will feel very sudden to everyone," and "I naturally came to think about what I should do."

He added, "When I greet you with a new face going forward, I will do my best to become a Mark with a good image."
