[Dispatch=Lee Myung-ju] NCT's Jeno and Jaemin meet with audiences. The drama they appeared in will be released in theaters.
Distributor Take One Company announced on the 8th, "The short-form drama 'Wind Up' (screenplay by Byun Jae-chul, directed by Kim Sung-ho) will have an exclusive CGV release on July 2nd."
The film title is 'Wind Up: The Movie.' It depicts the pure friendship between a high school baseball pitcher who cannot throw a scream and a transfer student who volunteers to be his manager.
It was first released in short-form on the 1st. It was a hit, recording 30 million cumulative views. In this theatrical release, the vertical format original content was converted to horizontal format.
A poster was also opened before release. Jeno played high school baseball player Woojin, and Jaemin played transfer student Taehee. It previewed the narrative of youths moving toward their dreams.
Meanwhile, 'Wind Up: The Movie' will be available to watch at CGV from the 2nd of next month.
