[Dispatch=Yuha Sky Reporter] The Netflix series "True Education" (director Hong Jong-chan) took first place in the domestic series category immediately after its release.
"True Education" released all 10 episodes on the 5th. It depicted the activities of the School Authority Protection Bureau, which works to set schools right from the perspective of victims. Just one day after release, it ranked first on Netflix's "Today's Top 10 Series in Korea."
Kim Moo-yeol played supervisor Na Hwa-jin of the School Authority Protection Bureau in the series. He led the drama by demonstrating a wide range of acting, from delicate performances that embrace emotion to intense action sequences. He maximized the character's presence with his distinctive charisma.
He expressed different qualities of emotion in each episode. He created a lighthearted atmosphere by throwing out dad jokes, while also leaving deep impressions with serious emotional acting.
In particular, he convincingly portrayed the wounds hidden behind a bright exterior. In scenes where Na Hwa-jin recalls his fiancée Choi Ga-yoon (played by Ha Young), he delivered subtle eye acting that conveyed a sense of heaviness. He persuasively completed the reason why Na Hwa-jin must be sincere in his School Authority Protection Bureau activities.
Kim Moo-yeol provided catharsis by refreshingly resolving school issues that are controversial in reality. Through unreserved action and dynamic reactions, he vividly expressed Na Hwa-jin's charm and anchored the center of the drama.
